メルセデス「E」クラス
メルセデス・ベンツ E クラスは、ドイツの自動車メーカー、メルセデス・ベンツによってさまざまなエンジンと車体構成で製造された一連のエグゼクティブカーです。 E クラスは 1953 年から生産され、メルセデスのラインナップのミッドレンジに位置し、5 世代にわたり世界中で販売されてきました。
1993 年以前、メルセデス ベンツの命名法における E は、アインシュプリッツモーター (ドイツ語で燃料噴射エンジンを意味する) を表す車両のモデル番号に続く接尾語でした。この機能は 1960 年代初頭に登場し始め、そのとき、その機能は上位層の高級モデルやスポーツ モデルだけでなく、メーカーの製品ラインで広く利用され始めました。 1993 年のフェイスリフトされた W124 の発売までに、燃料噴射はメルセデスのエンジンに広く普及し、E が接頭辞として採用され (つまり E 220)、モデルラインは正式に E クラス (または E クラス) と呼ばれるようになりました。 。すべての世代の E クラスは、後輪駆動システムまたはメルセデスの 4Matic 四輪駆動システムのいずれかを提供してきました。
